About the Author
Justin Wilson, always dapper in suspenders and a bow tie, was the author of several books. He starred in three acclaimed cooking series that aired on more than 300 PBS stations nationwide. The Cajun comedian produced 27 comedy albums that charmed audiences and, at one point, even outsold Elvis Presley. Wilson passed away on September 6, 2001, but his spirit lives on through the recipes he shared and the programs he made during his lifetime, which continue to air on PBS affiliates.

Justin Wilson was a treasure of television cook shows. His "down to earth" humor and laid back style made watching his show a pleasant diversion and the food preparation was just an added benefit. He was as outstanding in his character as Julia Child was in hers. Both were unique. This cookbook is probably the best offering to remember Justin and enjoy his delicious recipes.

Meh. Honestly, I can't see putting wine in every dish because they'd all have the same underlying flavor. There are some interesting recipes I will be making though.
I was so happy that I could find Justin Wilson's cook books. Now I have all of them!
I gave this to my dad as a gift. We used to watch Justin's shows together. What I liked best about this book is all the history of Justin's live mixed in with the recipes. If you watched the show, or are a fan, this is the cookbook to buy.

Highly, Highly recommended cookbook. You have wonderful Cajun recipes that most people wish they knew how to cook. My son loved this book. I do recommend this product if you would like to cook Cajun.
