Appealing, but lacks depth. It has a nice incentive about downloading files of the illustrations. Honestly though, there's not enough pages to fully explain in each section. I thought this would help me more with drawing, but I honestly would recommend Michael Hampton's figure drawing book or Andrew Loomis books. I suppose if you want something that's not too bulky and just want a general idea of anatomy and figure drawing, it might help the reader. It's not that expensive either, but I'm not really impressed. I'll just find a book that focuses more on animal anatomy since I thought this book would be a nice reference book.
I like to draw in my spare time and wanted a comprehensive book on anatomy. I want to improve my figure drawing by understanding the muscular and skeletal structure of human beings. However, I didn't want one of those old anatomy books by the masters that are hard to read and more scientific in nature. I have purchased materials from this company before and I cannot recommend them enough! They are easy to ready and presented in bright colors with lots of easy-to-follow diagrams. A great book for budding artists!
