Good, yet generic coverage for Mercury outboard motors. This will do untill I find a model specific manual for my motor.
If you have a Mercury Mariner this is the book for you. Unfortunately, I have a Yamaha Mariner. I was looking for info covering the 40 hp motor. If you have a Yamaha Mariner you'll be better off ordering a Yamaha manual. Or try the website Tradebit.
Meh, its really kinda vague and did not help me out as much as I would have liked.
This book could be found at the local book store used but if it were in stock it would be at the full price of a new book.

If you want to do it yourself and also learn quite a bit about 2-stroke engines and how to fix things then this book is what u need. Great book. Learned lots and it helped me lots.
If you have a 40hp mariner engine and are looking for any kind of information for working on it do not buy this rag. It has limited or completely usless information of all kinds. Extremely poor wiring diagrams. Basically useless information in all areas. Waste of time and money. Maybe it could be used to sop water out of the bildge.
